Social responsibility

Life at Trocellen

Social responsibility

Our responsibility to people includes how we work together, how we protect each other and how we contribute to the communities around our sites. Through workplace safety, learning opportunities and initiatives such as Mind Matters, we put this responsibility into practice.

Mind Matters

Making space for mental wellbeing

Work is part of life, and people bring more than their professional skills to it. Stress, change, relationships and everyday habits can affect how we feel and how we work with others.

Launched in 2022, Mind Matters is Trocellen’s ongoing mental wellbeing and health awareness programme. Through regular articles, practical ideas and learning activities, it helps colleagues understand these topics and find approaches they can use in everyday life, at work and beyond.

The programme also brings attention to how we communicate: listening, expressing our needs clearly and finding a constructive way forward when we disagree.

The programme contains special trainings, such as assertive communication, workshops about resilience, and family and health days. All programme elements are fully harmonised with the local People & Culture programmes, so every country can select the elements that best fit its local needs.

Mind Matters complements our work on safe working conditions and a respectful workplace culture.

Workplace responsibility and communities

Responsibility in our working lives

A safer working day

Protecting colleagues means paying attention to the workplace, equipment and everyday routines. Safety training, prevention and practical improvements are part of this responsibility in production and in administration and business roles.

Fairness and respect

Our Code of Conduct sets out our commitment to human rights, equal treatment and a workplace free from discrimination and harassment. Respect also means making room for different perspectives in everyday cooperation.

Learning and development

Skills grow through practice, training and working with experienced colleagues. Our career pages introduce the roles, workplaces and individual stories that show what development can look like at Trocellen.

Local community initiatives

Part of our local communities

Our sites are part of the communities around them. Local initiatives can support sport, wellbeing and people in need, with each activity responding to a specific local opportunity or need.
